How to replace Microsoft Basic Display Driver(M.B.D.D) with my manufacturers device?
My RAM slot was damaged so I've recently replaced my mobtherboard. RAMS are working fine now, but got ditched by drivers I installed each missing drivers one by one while audio and graphics drivers created a mess.
Anyhow I was successfully able to install audio AC'97 driver through windows recovery mode using <'7) Disable driver signature enforcement'> feature of windows 10, but stuck in problem with graphics driver. Even after installing the correct driver windows is still sticking with 'Microsoft Basic Display Driver' (M.B.D.D).
Can anyone please help me by guiding how do I replace it with my actual graphic driver.
I have tried the following solutions:-
1.) Downloaded appropriate driver both manually and automatically through detect my GPU driver by means of java browser add on.
2.) Installed using all available compatibility modes i.e XP, Vista, 7, 8
3.) Ran the installer after completely uninstalling the graphic drivers using DUU .
4.) Cleared and fixed the registries than installed the driver.
5.) Also tried installing after refreshing and resetting my PC completely.
6.) Even tried installing the driver after formatting and freshly installing the windows using OS disc.
7.) Uninstalled the driver using DUU and led the windows update driver through windows update.
8.) Removed graphic card from motherboard and installed Intel graphics drivers both manually and by windows update.
All the time OS serves me with a yellow ! mark in Device manager no matter Intel or Nvidia device.
Every time driver is installed in 'Programs and Features' and in 'Device manager' but still my OS stuck with Microsoft Basic Display driver.
Anyhow M.B.D.D is not present in Device manager not even after clicking on 'show hidden devices'. Under Display Adapters tab it only shows <'NVIDIA GeForce 210'> or <'Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family'> with a yellow exclamation mark, but when I click 'display adapter properties' in display settings, a properties window of pop up saying 'Microsoft Basic display driver'.
I don't understand what further to do. I planned of rolling back to windows 7 or xp if I dont find solution Microsoft answers is are my last hope
Any sort of help is wholeheartedly appreciated
